Supporting Our Charity Through Your Event

By choosing St Mary’s as your event venue, you’re not only securing a versatile and beautifully maintained space for your conference, meeting, or private event - you’re also supporting our work as a registered charity.

Every booking helps fund our wide range of charitable projects and contributes to the upkeep of this Grade I listed heritage building. Venue hire is one of the key ways we sustain our charity work, Love Marylebone, which is dedicated to engaging with and supporting our local community in Marylebone and beyond.

With your support, we can continue to develop and expand initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the community, while maintaining a stunning, historic Central London venue for your events.

Through our charity work, Love Marylebone, St Mary’s supports a wide range of community and international initiatives:

Graphic design with a large beige circle on a cream background and the words 'Social Supermarket' with a small apple icon beside it.

Our Social Supermarket provides affordable fresh food, cupboard staples, and hygiene essentials. We also prepare and distribute meals for people experiencing homelessness in London, offering nourishment and the opportunity to build meaningful connections.

Spilled coins on a table, bible verse organization logo, and text that says 'Money Course'.

In partnership with CAP (Christians Against Poverty), we run money management courses to help people budget responsibly, build confidence, and develop essential financial skills.

Logo with a white illustration of a building, possibly a courthouse or government building, on a teal background. The text around the illustration reads "Saint Mary’s Bryanton Square."

Working with TLG (Transforming Lives for Good), we offer year-long mentoring programs at the local primary school, St Mary’s Bryanston Square, supporting children in education and personal growth.

Logo of Caritas Bakita House featuring a red four-leaf clover with heart-shaped leaves and the words "Caritas Bakita House" in red against a beige background.

Volunteers from St Mary’s also visit Bakhita House in Westminster, a safe home for women who have escaped the trauma of trafficking, providing support, guidance, and friendship.

Internationally, we have a 20+ year partnership with Kiwoko Hospital and Goshen School in Uganda, supporting initiatives led by Shadrach and his team, including a school with boarding for orphans and a vocational college, helping transform lives and strengthen the local community.

Our Movie Nights allow local children to enjoy the latest films on our 4m wide screen while parents relax in The Undercroft with cheese and wine. It’s more than fun - these nights give families time together, children a chance to socialise, and parents a well-earned moment to unwind, bringing our community closer with every showing.

This is just a snapshot of the impact your support makes possible. Every event hosted at St Mary’s helps fund these projects, empowering us to make a real difference both locally and globally.
